Day Thirty – Library

Stories in the thousands,
pages waiting their turn,
a repository of information
and resourcefulness to learn.

An athenaeum of time
collected in compact volumes,
storing great feats of imagination
and ingenuity of creativity.

Dead narratives arise and continue
breathing life anew,
into musty old books
screaming an undying fable or two.

To unwind them all; perseverance
taking hours of thousands,
but their patience is long,
virtuous and tested.

For without our touch
the uniqueness of information,
passed on through generations
of artists, is left, shelved and unspoken.
